به گزارش پایگاه خبری تریبون ملی،اتابک نادری مدیرکل هنرهای نمایشی این خبر را تایید کرد.
براساس اعلام خانه سینما، بازیگر پیشکسوت سینما و تلویزیون عصر امروز جمعه دوم مرداد به دلیل ایست قلبی در بیمارستان درگذشت.
پیکر اکبر عبدی ساعت ۹:۳۰ صبح روز یکشنبه، چهارم مرداد از مقابل تالار وحدت تشییع و در قطعه هنرمندان به خاک سپرده خواهد شد.
اکبر عبدی آقاباقر بازیگر پیشکوت سینما، تئاتر و تلویزیون، دارنده نشان درجه یک فرهنگ و هنر متولد ۴ شهریور ۱۳۳۹ در تهران بود، او از سال ۱۳۵۸ با دریافت مدرک دیپلم با نمایشهای آماتوری فعالیت هنریاش را آغاز کرد و سپس از سال ۱۳۶۱ به تلویزیون رفت. عبدی فعالیت خود را از اواخر دهه ۱۳۵۰ آغاز کرد و از هنرجویان مدرسه هنر و ادبیات صدا و سیما بوده است که با مجموعه تلویزیونی «باز مدرسم دیر شد» (۱۳۶۲) شناخته شد.
عبدی سپس در سال ۱۳۶۳ با فیلم «جنجال بزرگ» بازی در سینما را آغاز کرد و پس از آن در فیلمهای «مردی که موش شد»، «اجاره نشینها»، «گراند سینما» و «ای ایران» توانست قابلیتهای خود را در نقشهای کمدی ثابت کند.
نوع چهره عبدی و بازیهای او به قدری در زمینه کمدی منحصر بهفرد بود که حتی در فیلم «مادر» در نقش معلول و در فیلم سفر «جادویی» در دو نقش میانسالی و کودکیاش ظاهر شد و توانست به محبوبیت خوبی در میان مخاطبان سینمایی دست پیدا کند، این امر حتی در فیلمهای «دلشدگان» و «آقای شانس» هم مشهود بود.
از بازیهای عبدی میتوان به فیلمهای «هنرپیشه» و «آدمبرفی» اشاره کرد. او برای نقشآفرینی در «مادر» (۱۳۶۸) و «خوابم میآد» (۱۳۹۰) برنده دو جایزه سیمرغ بلورین بهترین بازیگر نقش مکمل مرد جشنواره فیلم فجر شده است.
عبدی نیمه اول دهه هشتاد را در سکوت سینمایی سپری کرد و تا حدودی از محبوبیت و شهرت او کاسته شد. بازی او در چند فیلم کمدی در اواخر دهه هفتاد هم خیلی مورد توجه واقع نشد و با وجود اینکه در سال ۱۳۸۰ و در جشنواره بیستم فیلم فجر برای بازی در فیلم «نان و عشق و موتور هزار» نامزد جایزه شد.
عبدی در فیلم «خوابزدهها» بعد از فیلمهای «آدمبرفی» و «خوابم میآد» برای سومینبار نقش یک زن را ایفا کرد. وی در این فیلم نقش دو زن را بازی کرد.
عبدی با بازی در سه گانه اخراجیها دوباره به اوج رسید.
او در چند سال اخیر درگیر بیماری بود.
